Vandita Parikh

Vandita Parikh is an award-winning folk arts educator, scholar, and the visionary founder of Nruthyashakti Dance School of Arts (est. 2000), one of the premier institutions in the U.S. dedicated exclusively to Indian folk arts. A recipient of the President’s Award from Pratibha Patil in 2011, she is recognized for elevating folk traditions through both academic rigor and stage excellence. her awards include Lifetime award from LOS Gujurati Samaj, Ambassador of Folk arts and Culture by the Rajput association of India, Impactor Award by Shubham Foundation, Woman in Leadership award by the YoungArts council, Best Performing award by the Collaborative Arts of Plano.
