Smt. Varsha S Murthy is a dedicated artist and educator, passionately promoting the rich traditions of Bharatanatyam and Carnatic vocal music. Under the guidance of esteemed Gurus Dr. Veena Vani G.S. and Vasudha Nagaraj, Varsha has honed her skills and now teaches these art forms from her home, enriching the Indian community in the DFW metroplex. She views art as a divine gift that ignites the soul, and her diverse talents extend to music composition, choreography, and accompanying singers as a keyboardist. Varsha has performed at various cultural events, including Matha Ki Chowki and Kalyaanothsavam, and collaborated with Dallas-based bands like Aikya and Nisarga. Her artistic endeavors also include poetry writing, sketching, and exploring various musical genres, showcasing her versatile passion for the performing arts.
