SMS Messaging Policy

Show My Stage (showmystage.com) is an online marketplace for booking performing artists for live events. This page describes our SMS program: what we send, how users opt in, and how to opt out.

What messages we send

One-time verification codes — sent when a user signs in or RSVPs with their phone number (passwordless sign-in).
Transactional event notifications (opted-in users only) — RSVP waitlist promotions and event-day reminders for events the user registered to attend. Messages are triggered by the user’s own RSVP actions.

We do not send marketing or promotional SMS.

How users opt in

A user RSVPs to a public event (or signs in) by entering their name and mobile number in the Show My Stage app or website.
The form displays the consent notice shown below, and the user taps “Text me a code” — this is their consent to receive a one-time verification text plus event reminders for events they RSVP to.
The user confirms ownership of the number by entering the 6-digit code we text them.
Ongoing event-notification SMS additionally requires the user to enable the separate SMS notifications toggle in their notification settings. Consent is recorded with a timestamp.

Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies with the user’s own activity (typically 1–3 messages per event they RSVP to). Message and data rates may apply according to the user’s mobile plan.

Privacy

Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent information are used solely to deliver the messages described above. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
