Vendor listings
A vendor listing is how service providers advertise event support on Show My Stage — catering, AV, photography, décor, planning, and similar. It is separate from an artist profile and from simply having an account after RSVP.

What a vendor listing is for
Use a vendor listing if you offer services around events, not (only) performing on stage. Typical uses:
- Appear when organizers assemble an event and need vendors
- Share category, services, pricing notes, portfolio, and travel radius
- Take inquiries from organizers
- Keep a public vendor page once you choose to list it
Like venues, vendors support the events workflow. Artist search remains the primary marketplace discovery path for performers.
How to create one
- Sign in (phone or email)
- Open Get Started and choose Offer services
(or go to the business profile builder with vendor selected) - Fill Basic info: business/display name, location, metro
- If you registered by phone without a date of birth yet, enter DOB (18+) — required before the listing can be created
- Continue through the wizard: services, photos, pricing, review
- Leave Listed on Discover off until you’re ready (drafts stay private)
On mobile, vendor setup opens the same web wizard inside the app.

Draft vs listed
New vendor listings start not public. Turning on discoverability lists you where organizers browse supporting services. You can hide the listing again without deleting it.

One account can own more than one type over time. A photographer who also performs might keep both an artist profile and a vendor listing — they solve different jobs.
Frequently asked questions
I’m a performer who also sells a service — which should I create?
Start with artist if performance is primary. Add a vendor listing when you want organizers to find you specifically as a service (e.g. “photography for events”) in assembly flows.
Do I need a venue to be a vendor?
No. Vendor and venue are independent.
What happens to my vendor listing if I delete my account?
See Delete account. Listings tied to your user are cleaned up or unlinked according to those rules; curated unclaimed vendors may remain separately.
